The Infant Potty Training Trailblazer: Laurie Boucke Interview Part 1 – an interview with a master

Book Author Laurie Boucke
I am absolutely honored to have a guest on the show for the next few episodes of my EC Podcast.
Today I'll be sharing part 1 of a wonderful interview with Author and EC trailblazer Laurie Boucke. Laurie was first to write about EC back in 1979 after discovering it with her 3rd child. She will share the story of how she came up with the term "infant potty training" and a little about her journey with her son in this first part of our interview. In future episodes she will share more about her book, Infant Potty Training, and give some advice for pottying our babies to all of our listeners.
I really enjoyed speaking with Laurie about how she came upon infant potty training and experienced learning it from and with her son. In our next episode I will share part 2 of our interview where Laurie will answer questions about how her book came about, and we will eventually dive into her advice for parents like you. You won't want to miss this!
What I mentioned in this episode
If you'd like to grab a copy of Laurie Boucke's encyclopedic tome, Infant Potty Training, you can order it here. Her book was extremely helpful for me to grasp the history of Elimination Communication and how it is practiced in other countries, and a great gentle approach to the practice.
It's also a great companion to my book...Go Diaper Free...which is now available in ebook and Kindle formats - you can take a look at it at godiaperfree.com/thebook. I just have to include what Laurie, herself, had to say about my book:
"I highly recommend this beautiful and excellent resource for EC families. The Go Diaper Free book is richly illustrated and is an invaluable compilation of information. It is the first multimedia version (bravo!) and thus enables readers to quickly find things throughout the book."
Thanks for the kind words, Laurie, and thanks for being on my show today!

Til then, happy pottying ya'll!
