Professional Bio

Andrea Olson is the proud mama of 6 children. Each of Andrea’s children were all ECed from birth and all out of diapers by the time they were walking. Andrea is also the owner of Go Diaper Free and Tiny Undies.

When Andrea started Elimination Communication with her first baby, she struggled with how to actually potty her newborn - where were all the visual, simple instructions, and were there any other parents doing EC? Since then, Andrea has made it super-simple for hundreds of thousands of parents worldwide to start EC with their own babies, as early as birth. Andrea has expanded her outreach by training over 300 coaches to host EC communities across the globe.

With Tiny Undies she closes the gap in the underwear market by selling undies designed to fit tiny bums. Her underwear and potty seats are designed for newborns all the way up to 5T sizes. Andrea’s third company teaches new mamas with tiny babies and big dreams how to start and succeed with a new business while balancing all the other responsibilities of motherhood. Andrea lives in Asheville, NC with her fiance, 6 kiddos, sweet kitty, and (at last count) 18 backyard chickens.

Company Overview

Go Diaper Free
Founded by Andrea Olson, Go Diaper Free is a group of mamas just like you with a mission to help more mamas worldwide go diaper free, teaching Elimination Communication, a natural alternative to full-time diapering and conventional potty training. Andrea started this company to provide parents seeking an alternative to diapers with a simplified and visual solution. Her best-selling book Go Diaper Free contains a step-by-step curriculum that makes it easy for parents to start their journey of going diaper free.

Backed by popular demand, Andrea’s second book Tiny Potty Training Book helps parents easily train older babies & toddlers without coercion or bribes. In addition to Andrea’s go diaper free mission, she offers a Certified Coach Training Program for those who have an interest in learning how to teach others about EC and want to build an EC community where they live.

Tiny Undies
Founded by Andrea Olson, Tiny Undies was born out of the need to provide babies and toddlers with well-fitting underwear. When Andrea started elimination communication with her first baby over a decade ago, she quickly realized that she didn’t have anything to put her baby in once out of diapers. There simply wasn’t any underwear available that fit tiny bums! So Andrea made her own. Tiny Undies underwear and training pants are 100% cotton, all-natural, and sustainably made (no sweatshops), and they actually FIT tiny bums!

Mompreneur Programs
Founded by Andrea Olson, the Mompreneur Programs are for driven moms who want to start a wildly profitable online business without sacrificing time with their babies and teaches them how successfully run and scale their business, while balancing all the things. Andrea believes that all mamas with BIG dreams deserve to create meaningful work of their own and stay at home with their babies as much as they desire.

The Go Diaper Free Podcast

The world's first podcast about going diaper-free with either EC or potty training.

Contrary to popular marketing messages, diapers are tools, not toilets, and babies are ALL born “ready” to use the toilet. Learn how to connect with your baby on this very natural level with expert guidance, and experience the freedom of a life without dependence upon diapers, a life without traumatic toilet training - a life where your baby gets a head start on developing motor skills, communication, and learning by prioritizing this age-appropriate skill (0-18 months) & potty training skills appropriate for older babies (over 18 months).

The Go Diaper Free Podcast posts new episodes each and every week that contain all the tips and tricks, relatable stories, and troubleshooting info parents need to know to have a successful elimination communication and potty training journey.

Host, Nicole Cheever, is also the coordinator of our Certified Coach Program at Go Diaper Free. Using her hands-on experience from ECing her own babies, Nicole brings a wealth of information and helpful stories that all parents can relate to and use while on their journey to going diaper free. Want to meet with Nicole? She would love to be a guest with you and tell you a little bit more about Go Diaper Free!

Meet the Go Diaper Free Podcast Host

Nicole Cheever is a Go Diaper Free Certified Coach, wife, and mama to three incredible young humans. She practiced some part-time Elimination Communication with her first two babies, then decided to start from birth with her third and “go all in.” She enrolled in the coach program when her youngest was a newborn, and had her out of daytime diapers right after her first birthday. Now she hosts the weekly Go Diaper Free podcast and coordinates the Certified Coach Program.

Nicole is most passionate about helping families who missed the EC window find success and confidence with Andrea’s simple potty training plan, especially when they come back with their next baby ready to jump in and try EC! She loves to use her social media to provide encouragement and practical pottying tips to other parents, as well as to blast the disposable diaper industry and bust myths about toilet training readiness. Nicole lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she was born and raised, with her family and her couch potato of an old lady boxer rescue.
