Tantrums…I’m at my wit’s end.

branson toddler meltdown in preschool picture

Our 4th baby, Branson, is 19 months old now and he has turned into our Master Tantrum Thrower, Honorary.

Luckily, regarding potty time, he is not resistant. (This is mostly due to the fact that we consciously took him out of daytime diapers at 12 months old.)

Everything else? OMG.

He throws himself on the floor and will NOT stop crying if I do not intervene.

Leaving the room doesn't help.

Consoling him doesn't help.

Giving him what I thought he wanted in the first place doesn't help (and is a terrible idea).

Doing everything "perfectly" so I don't upset him IN THE FIRST PLACE does not help.

(Can you relate?)

In fact, there he is in our preschool photo the other day, at the top of today's post. Seriously! ;o)

Seriously. ;0)

So I emailed my friend Devon Kuntzman for some advice. She is a toddler expert.

(Some of you may remember her interviewing me for her last Raising Toddlers Courageously Conference.)

In response to my desperate email, Devon gave me some pointers for Branson, mostly directing me to the below speakers for her next Raising Toddlers Courageously Conference, which is happening Nov 7-11 2018:

  1. Claire Lerner (she talks about several topics including temperament, positive stress, separation anxiety and the power of observation)
  2. Dr Joseph Lee (parenting to the needs and development instead of the behavior)
  3. Patty Wipfler (setting limits that bring you and your child closer - this is an advanced session for people who purchase the Premium Conference Package).

I am so...so...soooooo...excited.

And...my full-on, raw, interview with Devon on the topics of early potty training//EC//potty training (where I really say what's on my mind), is gonna be in the conference's bonus section.

If you want in on this incredible learning, you are welcome to watch all 28 toddler-related interviews, 18 hours of downloadable footage, for free "live" during the conference Nov 7-11, however, you must register in order to gain this free access.

Afterward, you are welcome to purchase lifetime access to the resources, which I've already done, myself - if you feel moved.

(Super secret tip: if you purchase within 20 minutes of signing up, it's only $67, then goes up to $97 pre-conference and $127 during - I saved half by purchasing within 20 minutes, no brainer.)

Anywho. Once sweet innocent baby turns into a tantrum-throwing master, it can be really jarring.

I just wanted you to know, today, that (if this is you) you are not alone.

Let's learn this stuff, together...I hope to see you there.

xx Andrea
