"Readiness signs" are a myth invented to sell more diapers. Potty training can start today — the golden window is 16–24 months, but this book works at any age from 18 months to 3½ years. The sooner you start, the easier it is.
Conventional potty training theoretically begins when baby is “ready,” ranging from 18-36 months of age. You might not be aware that EC can start on day one, even in tiny, doable ways (though you may start at any age – 0-18 months – that works for you)….

Yeah, but Andrea…what if it doesn't work for me?
I understand why folks fear that potty training won't work for them or their unique toddler…primarily because they've tried it all before and nothing has worked. The fear lies in the unknown, my friends!
But get this: in 1957, over 92% of toddlers were potty trained by 18 months. That wasn't long ago — and the age has doubled because of disposable diapers.
