Nadja Peery - Certified Coach

About Me

Hi, I am Nadja, - mother to one little girl and three four-legged friends.

My background is in animal training - a field in which I teach all about understanding and communicating with non-verbal creatures. The jump to helping other parents with their babies was not big and is just as enjoyable and rewarding.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and your little one(s) soon!

COACH Q&A

My experiences with Elimination Communication

When did you first learn about EC? What did you think? What did you do about it?

I heard about it briefly before I ever thought about having my own children from a friend who believes in many things I do, so when I got pregnant with my first baby I had to inquire further and definitely planned on at least trying it.

What does it mean for you to teach EC?

It means helping parents understand their babies better and avoid future struggles they may have because all the information they have comes from mainstream sources. And it means being part of, what feels like, a grassroots movement.

What is your favorite piece of EC gear or clothing?

Currently, with a new baby (boy) in the house, I love workhorse fitted diapers. For the awesome quality materials in my baby’s skin and because i know immediately when he has peed.

What book has inspired you the most on the path to becoming a more empowered mother?

That’s a tough question because there are so many, not even just parenting related books. But one that stands out is definitely “The Continuum Concept”!

What would you tell someone who is thinking of trying EC for the first time?

Just do it! Start to observe and let it flow from there. Don’t let fears or other’s opinions stop you, because people who share opposing opinions most likely don’t really know what it’s all about.
